    Hi All,

I don't know if there is already a thread on the W+P show, if there is apologies for starting another one!!

I run a Militaria shop and we will be at the War and Peace show from July 20th to July 24th.

If any members of this forum are planning on visiting the show, come and have a chat, we have refreshments and a warm welcome for all members of this forum.

We also plan to have a guest book to sign, veterans of all conflicts very welcome.

We also have stickers and stuff for the kids, all proceeds to Help for Heroes

We are at H31 on the War and Peace map.

    With Respect

    Jim

    Information on the event here

War & Peace Show - The Largest Military Vehicle Spectacular in the World - Home

its the biggest gathering of privatly owned military vehicles in the world (and that is a fact not just am idle boast)

There are stalls selling militaria from all over europe, not just a few about 2 acres of them. Buys anything from a tube of face black in original ww2 packaging to a sherman tank.
also lots of 1940s fashions shops for those who like 40'2 fashion, (my girlfriend loves it).

There is about 3 acres of reinactors with every conflict you can think of.

The site including all vehicle parks& camping is huge and you wont walk around it all in one day! Take very sensible shoes....

Its well worth a trip out to deepest darkest kent.

Singeager, it's not clear from the link provided what the entrance fee is for a day visitor - can you advise?
I will be at the MVT event at Damyn's Hall, Aveley. Last year's one was great, let's hope for such great weather this year.

    All,
Sorry been off the 'net for a week or so.
The W+P show is not just about vehicles, there are loads of demos and mock battles, shows, bars, bands, traders etc. It really is one of the best occasions on the military calendar, also you will probably need more than one day there to see everything, its that big.
Dave, Top work you guys do for the Vets, come and see us at H31 and a cold beer awaits. Just the one mind, you are driving after all )
    Cheers

I'm popping in tomorrow as well for a brief look.:)

If it's not raining, I'll be wearing a teeshirt with this on the back. If you see it, tap me on the shoulder and say hi.

I was going to go down tomorrow with my neighbours boy's of 8 & 11.....but there's no way he can afford those prices to get in for the kids as the poor bugger has been laid of from work, I think its disgracefully expensive for such young children.......Adult price is more than fare enough but kids don't think so...

Thanks Mike looks good and a little more low key plus I can always dump the mrs off at Lakeside

I think the people that arrange the ticket prices really should think about the future customers and not just the present ones after all its the kids of today that will be keeping history alive in a few years;)
