Totally agree with you cash, however i'll be going anyway no matter the cost. It's in my opinion the best military show of the year, closely followed by the military odyssey show mind ;).

On a side note, should any memebers want any photos taken, where should I post them? On this thread? Thanks guys.

Well what a result, I had a call today from a friend who knew someone who's company needed 10 boxes of stuff dropped off in the show so hey what could I say I took little George and Anthony and they were well chuffed to go into the show........I was even more chuffed to get in for free with the kids but such a nice afternoon was had my guilt got the better of me so bunged in £20 in to the Help for Heroes fund.....a worthy cause if ever there was one...

Also got to go in a Lancaster????

Ok just a couple of Fuselage's but a boy hood dream anyway....

As soon as I can put the pics on my pc I will post them for you I hope they are of an interest to someone feel free to use them for what ever you need..

An impressive event. Have been there for the first time.

I think it is good that they show as well Axis vehicles to have some sort of a counterweight to all the hundreds of Landrovers and Jeeps ;-). But what I found fairly disgusting was that nearly all Germans were playing SS. There was hardly a vehicle or a uniform without "SS". Remarkable that those SS players were not Germans but mostly French and Dutch... but since obviously the uniform had taken over their minds one could not see the difference :).

    All,
We had a very good show, made a lot of new friends, a couple from here, which was very nice.
RE the prices, I agree it is ridiculous the cost for children, the greed of the Hop Farm (alledgedly) I'm afraid. We were there on Sunday and we set up on Monday, burger and chips was £6.60, as soon as we got to wednesday, the first public day it was £9.60 at the same van. A rip off, the Ice Cream vans have to pay £500 per day just to be there, I guess thats why the Hop Farm is looking to be floated on the stock exchange. That said it is the best show of its kind, and as I said we had a ball, looking forward to next year already!!
    Will post some pix ASAP.
    Cheers
    Jim
