When my grandfather purchased warbonds, he recieved a Brass (i believe it is brass ) Pin, with 1941 attached by two small chains. I do not have a picture right now, but i'll get one up if anyone would like to see it. Has anyone else heard of these or own one?
I assume they're similar to the little tokens you could get in the Wings for Victory schemes. I have 3 button hole pins of aircraft from one such fund raiser. If anyone wants I can photograph them and post them up. I think they were just a way of showing you were supporting the war effort.
