I was looking at a lot of info about weather stations on the Nordic countries and I asked myself how they were made? what studies were done? from google I do not find photos but only fragmented info on an improbable war-meteo.The structures Were they simply tents, or in concrete? underground or, on the contrary, raised like turrets? Was the personnel present military or civilian? what machinery or equipment did they own? always returning to the staff, they had a specific name like a team or a platoon or not?
The answer is "it depends" on where they were located. Germany produced everything from automatic unmanned stations (which could be hidden) to stations manned by several weathermen. Tents? - I suspect not. Not Nordic I know but the remains of unmanned stations have been found in remote parts of Arctic Canada this century

I mean the weather stations built in Italy by the Germans from 40 to 44. were they already automated, or did they have a physical structure?
