We are asking nicely, you don't need to keep bumping. People read the threads and will respond if they wish. Believe me bumping doesn't help.

One minute between a post and a bump. Is that some kind of international record?

Sorry I'm late getting to this post. Had trouble logging in - all good now.
This from the 75 sqn ORB.
3 Sept 42. Operations. Attacks Against Targets At Emden.
Six aircraft were detailed to attack the above target. Bombs of 500 lbs were dropped in the target area by two aircraft, two failing to reach the target. A.A. Fire was slight - and searchlights were few. The weather was bad, being heavy cloud all the way to the target and 10/10th cloud over the target. Navigation was good.
Wellington X3396 captained by Sgt Law, and Wellington X3794 captained by Sgt Hunting, failed to return.
I'll see what else I can find.

    Regards,
    Wayne.

Talk about mountains out of molehills.

I posted my best guess for the aircraft and squadron and asked the original enquirer to see if the NoK details confirmed this guess.

The subsequent posts seem to have decided that this is the only answer and gone round the houses twice to rehash info in posts.

    Ross
I have no idea what NoK means sorry
