    Hi

I am desperately trying to find Jack, the son of an English girl Paddy (Patricia/Patrice) & an Italian prisoner of war Ildebrando Virrusio. He met her in either Royston but more probably in Littleport as that is scribbled on her photo when in uniform. He was also at the hospital there. He was repatriated back to Italy in 1945 and Jack was only a baby then so Jack probably born 1944-45. His Italian family wants to meet either Jack or his
    descendants.

If you were stationed there or know any clue about these people I would love to hear from you. Thank you.

So what is the mothers surname.

Can you upload the image so we can read what is scribbled

Do you have any more details on her, if you know her surname have you applied for service records to see where she was stationed etc??

Have you tried on this site - ItalianGenealogy.com - Italian POW's held in the uk WW2

Births of someone called Jack in 1944 - Results 1–50 of 868
Births of someone called Jack in 1945 - Results 1–50 of 678

So something needs to happen to reduce the odds of finding him

Are you sure he was born Jack - my father was born/christened John but through use etc it can evolve to Jack

Other details that would be useful:
Where was the hopital she worked in
You need to find his POW record to see which camp he was in, and where he worked
His POW record may tell you when he was repatriated - the IIRC may hold his POW record, you may need to contact them/apply for his records Requests for information about people held during Spanish Civil War or the Second World War: Quarterly limit reached
