Which Italian fort in Libya is this ?

    On page 18 of Wavell's Offensive by Bryan Perrett.
    It's not identified but Forts Capuzzo, Maddalena & Sidi Omar are mentioned.

    Not Capuzzo. For sure. But I must admit, that it is the first time, I see a photo of this fort. Maddalena and Sidi Omar were not accesible tome - so I could not say, if it is one of them...

    It's not Jalo either.

    Some shots of Jalo including Brig Reid and captured Italian Munitions (75mm Field gun and 20mm Breda sitting on one of those peculiar natural mounds near Jalo)after it was captured by Force E on Op Crusader.

    Hi Andreas
    I see you working on a project on Operation Crusader...I have just learnt that my Great Uncle Kenneth Murray Moffat was killed in Action on 23/11/1941 during that operation would love to hear more accounts on that!!!
