William Marshall Dakey Stalker A & SH

My mate has been lead to believe that her grandfather was decorated during the war - possibly at El Alamein and possibly with the MM. Other than the name, above, and the fact that he may have been in the A & SH, I have little other information. I can find nothing on the London Gazette. Can anyone help?

They may have the wrong war! I have found a William Stalker in the A & SH in the Great War; I am investigating. I'll post any results.
