Hi Dean, Did you have any success obtaining a copy of this file? If so, are you able to share as I am looking for some information on my uncle Vince, thanks Deb

    Hi Deb,
I only have 2 pages from the entire report, they are the camp commanders statement that he made to his interrogator about the evacuation of Stalag XXa. I'm happy to send you a copy if they may be of any use to you.

Hi Dean, I would be interested to see however it sounds like it won’t be specific enough for what I am looking for. My uncle took the place of another pow in XXA fort 15 around may 1944 to help him escape as he had some intelligence and was punished severely/ tortured for 6 weeks in Bromberg as a result. I am trying to find details of the incident and the pow he helped. I assume you only requested the 2 pages but there are many more in the file? Deb

    Hi Deb,

Sorry I don't know how big the file is. When I searched the national archive I was very specific as to what I needed.
