There are many previous posts about this under the title Calling Blighty. The latest search is for men from Brighton. They have film footage of these men but no names. You can go to their website and view the men as the project is keen to find names and relatives. The men may not be wearing the correct regimental uniform apparently as they were often given a generic one just for the film, because their own were so shabby or tattered, and this has hindered identification. So the men could be from any battalion or unit who were in the right place at the right time. We have discovered some of the footage was taken in Malaya towards the end of the war.
