I've just been reading one of the BBC's People's War entries - and raised my eyebrows here: BBC - WW2 People's War - RAF Training in Southern Africa I've never heard of this before. Has anyone else heard of this going on? Also, is there a list anywhere of standard tropical kit for ground crew?
