For anyone interested (ww2f members especially), Otto has the forum back on-line again. Cheers BW I am still getting the down for migration message
Maybe try a refresh page at that point Formerjughead. I had to directly type in the web address, Google wasn't listing it directly anymore. Cheers BW I am still getting the down for migration message
Not working for me either. Cleared my cache etc and still tells me its down. Otto even IM'd me telling me it was back, but it rejected me
It will take a little while for the new Domain setting to reach every part of the web. I've posted a few times already an so has BWilson. If you can't see it yet, give it some time and you will be accessing without issue. DNS settings (Domain Name Server), rarely take more than 24 hours to correct.
I still can't get on but will wait until tomorrow before I start to worry. I take it that at some point this forum will also be moved to the new server?
Narr...think I belong here...bit tough on ww2 talksers though...ZA and me to bring the place down. ya did the same thing to WW2F.:p
I'll pity them... Adam, haven't you learned? If you feed a stray, it'll start thinking that it lives here?
Yeah..but you can have it back now slip...I'll bore the pants of this lot. Its their turn. You obviously have never posted on some of the more curious vehicle threads over here, it'll cool your heels!!!! Urgh et al, you guys are welcome over here anytime lads, good members who showed much positivity and respect whilst here!! Otto, as Tom and Paul have said, well done on the work!
Otto has informed me that it might take up to 24 hours for some people to get access back on WW2F.com due to some technical issues. Otherwise, most people seem to be able to access the 'New' WW2F.com And yes, I believe at some point WW2Talk will also go through a server transfer, based on what I have heard from Otto.
As the USS WW2F hoves away from HMS WW2T after completing her refit & collecting the life-rafts, the officers have the strange suspicion that one was left behind. The only real evidence for this nagging feeling being unconfirmed sightings of a shambling figure, and the intermittent sound of cracked scouse laughter from the engine rooms...
Narr...think I belong here...bit tough on ww2 talksers though...ZA and me to bring the place down. Wouldn't be fair to leave you on your own ... Drew would have no one to tell to "Calm Down, Calm Down" ...
