Don't know if I should put it here - but here is part 1 of names, numbers and details from "Follow the tanks", Cambrai 20th November - 7th December 1917 (Gibot/Gorczyski).

So far, A & B Battalions. This is slow work!

Excel spreadsheet attached. Green filled cells are different to Kevin's list. Make of it what what you wish. I am not an expert and I haven't seen any of the original information but these two authors seem to me to have done a pretty good job! Unless anyone objections strenuously I will continue with the other battalions in the same manner.

    cheers

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for picking up these differences and anything you find in the WW II and Post War lists too. The whole idea of these lists is to try and provide the most accurate as possible database of named WW I, II and post war vehicles from British stocks. There will always be errors , be they typos or details from dubious sources.

It is a slow process, believe me but please continue to compile the list and post as you prefer. I will bring these queries to the attention of Dick Taylor who as I have said before compiled the WW I and post war lists.

    Cheers

Here's A, B, C, D & E Bn in a slightly different format than the first attempt. I've put in both your info (called Kt for convenience) and any info I have that is different - mostly from 'Following the Tanks - Cambrai, "The Tanks at Flers" and "Tanks and Trenches".

    Next is F Bn!
    cheers
