Very nice do you collect tin lids as well. I used to have a few or more German steel helmets, but I sold them many years back, though these days I have some Tommy helmets, both WWI and WWII and some others. I also used to have Italian, US and Russian steel helmets, but like the German ones they went. I still have some Dutch helmets, but mostly these days I collect soft headgear, having circa 30 British & Commonwealth caps including the British sun helmets shown in another thread, plus 4 officers peaked caps, 3 side caps, 2 glengarry caps, a GS cap, a Tam O shanter, a kilmarnock, a pillbox, a winter cap, a slouch hat and a few others from other nations.

Certainly a interesting hobby and you never know what you may stumble upon. My two best item's Dad and my jeep.
Certainly a interesting hobby and you never know what you may stumble upon. My two best item's Dad and my jeep. Two excellent items if I may say. Sadly my father who was a WWII North Africa and Italy veteran passed away in 1993. I have his medals, his cap badge and two photographs of him in the desert.
