    I have taken the liberty to ask your question on another site but I am awaiting a positive reply.

    No I would not consider paying to use a website, there are many out there that are better and are free.

    thankyou for the welcome and help ,im also trying to find out the crash site ,spoken to friends mother who is 90 years old, she remembers reports of it coming down over where the old doctors used to be on the ridgeway

    Couple of sites for you get 26 sqn history Sqn Histories 26-30_P (its free)
    also try

    wikipedia no 26 squadron raf willgive you more info, can't find about crash yet.

    Just a note on date and spellings. The CWGC has them killed in the 15th, and note Bestel's spelling:
