UK, WWII Civilian Deaths, 1939-1945 Name: Brice Harkins (Yes its misspelt here see attached) Estimated birth year: abt 1916 Death Date: 8 Apr 1941 Death Place: Belfast, Antrim, Northern Ireland Age at Death: 25 Father: Thomas Harkness I would guess he cannot be in both and as he was not on military active service then .......................... Hello Wesley He will be down as a civilian casualty and would not have a CWGC standard war dead headstone hence he is on the civilian roll of honour and no place of burial only the reporting authority.Casualty Details His headstone would be private. I have come across AFS/NFS with headstones non war dead as in post 6 CWGC Headstone Shapes but they do not show up on the searchable CWGC database although cwgc do keep records of their location. I do believe cwgc would not provide a non war dead headstone You could try contacting them with his story it doesnt hurt to do that Does he currently have a headstone Regards Clive
Piece here about him here (States he was buried in Belfast City Cemetery??) Brice Harkness - World War Two Northern Ireland Kyle
