Many thanks! Regarding this cross road: I had a look in Google; apart from the tram rails, is there anything left there which is still recognizable?

In case you hadn't noticed, take a look at what has been written on this tank (#1, photo no. 5). I suppose it gives some idea on what it felt like to be fighting in one.

Yes, of course, see these three houses in the picture. I immediately recognized the Mechelsesteenweg, because I live in Antwerp :)

Sorry, yes that one is clear, but somehow (don't see why now...) I thought you were referring to this one. Would love to know where this is as there are 7 of them taken at this location. Any idea?

And by the way, how do you get to see the photo names and numbers for the full scale photos?Although in my original files I see this no. 23 you were referring to, it doesn't pop up when looking at the photo in #1?

Yes, this is the Pothoekstraat, the first street on the left and the right is the Boerhaavestraat. Further left the Zeilstraat and the next is the Vlagstraat. The ZNA Stuivenberg hospital is on the right-hand side.
Almost all the houses have disappeared over the years, only the house with the staircase roof is still there.
After the Pothoekstraat, the 11th Armored Division went to Merksem and probably also to Deurne-Noord. (I will check Deurne Noord).

The name and number of the photo you see appear when you have your cursor on the photo and click on the right and choose save image :)

Many thanks again! Really happy to know the location of these pictures. Now on holiday but will certainly be back about this once back home.

    Regards, Ronald.
