    Hi All,

I'm looking for as much information about the above named Gunner from the 118th Field Regiment RA.
    Casualty Details | CWGC

He perished as a POW in Japanese hands on the Burma Railway. His CWGC details include a concentration form which suggests he was buried at Tasao (Tarsao) No. 1 Cemetery originally.

Are there any other documents out there in relation to this soldier please?

    Many thanks

    Steve

That is rather excellent Graham thank you. What a strange cause of death to state, vitamin deficiency must have applied to all the POWs by that time.

Thanks again Graham, this enquiry is an offshoot to the many Chindit Society family enquiries since VJ Day. Frank Meggs is the brother of a Chindit from 1944.

Thanks for those Tony. Does anyone know if his POW index card is available on FMP?
