Jack Masterson, Royal Artillery: POW Arnhem

    Hello can anyone help me with my great grandad Sergeant Jack Masterson 1461420 1st air landing Brigade anti-tank battery he took part in the battle for Arnhem and was captured and sent to a POW camp in Poland and was assigned a POW number 92077 any information on him at all would really help with my research many thanks William

    You need to apply for his service records
    Get a copy of military service records
    Date of birth and death certificate is all you require plus £30
    A bit of a wait but will be worth it

    Follow Clive's advice and get an application in for his official service records asap, it's a must if you want his full story. Casualty list states he went missing 26/9/44.
