Source for all photos but one: Search — Google Arts & Culture The lone photo not in the Life collection, but obviously from the same series by George Rodger, comes from page 195 of AFV Weapons Profile No.35 "British Armoured Recovery Vehicles & Wheels, Tracks and Transporters" by Peter Chamberlain & Maj Gen NW Duncan, Profile Publications Ltd, Windsor, Berks, UK 1971.
I've just updated this album by correcting the 5 pics which were reversed (happens quite often with Time Life photos). These photos are Nos. 12, 13, 20, 26 & 32, now posted in their correct orientation. Those of you who downloaded them before might want to correct/re-download them.
