Considering what actually took place throughout Northern Ireland during the Second World War I have to say that this representation in the Ulster Museum is very disappointing.

      Really pathetic isn't it.

Linking your site here, so anyone looking can see some proper NI WW2 info/history

      Hi Bernard
The museum has other priorities it seems: the vast majority of space is given over to art in relatively cavernous rooms, for the appreciation thereof, while the WW2 cabinet is only part of a crammed N.I. timeline squeezed into a space which also serves as a snaking 'corridor'. Even exhibits for Spanish Armada get a room, not that I begrudge that allocation.
It's the same old problem with these revamps, less artefacts on display, large info boards pop up with a couple of sentences in large print ... all about 'visitor experience' apparently.
