    Took of from Langer at 1241 hours. Crashed in the sea off Blainville sur Mer France and some 30km south east of Jersey in the Channel Islands.

    Source - RAF Bomber Command Losses Vol.3 - W R. Chorley.

    During the course of 1942 RAF Bomber Command visited Milan on 3 occasions. 159 aircraft were dispatched with 121 attacking the target (Industry). 80 tons of HE along with 123 tons of incendiaries were dropped. 9 aircraft were missing or lost.
