"Died of wounds" - men who died shortly after the war

    While doing some research on the casualties of Operation Varsity I came across a Canadian who was killed in action: Captain CE Gagnon die on March 25th 1945 near Hamminkeln. He was with 2nd Forward Observation Unit of 6th AB Div. I looked up the unit and came across this story: Another member of that unit, Captain Kenneth Boss was injured during "Varsity" - for his actions he received the MC, he died in June 1945 and was buried in the UK.
