I think I saw it on US TV but it was only shown for a second or two. What ever it was there were two single engine planes on each side. Were they Spitfires? Hope so.

Spitfires and Hurricanes, which with the Lancaster form the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The weather this morning was atrocious, stong wind, and Hissing-Down. No-way was the Lancaster gonna fly in this ! ? But, by 2pm it had cleared quite a bit, so off to Thame we went. About 3.18pm the Lancaster came Low, Slow and Loud over our heads in Waitrose car-park ! :plane: DSCF1778.JPG DSCF1780.JPG DSCF1781.JPG DSCF1783.JPG DSCF1784.JPG DSCF1785.JPG DSCF1786.JPG
