It's an interesting document, as it shows quite clearly how much better it was to be in the tanks than the infantry. When things went really horribly bad, as they did for 9 Lancers in January 1942, the number of dead is still miniscule, four I counted for 23 and 25 January, when the Lancers lost most of their tanks. By comparison, when things went south for an infantry battalion at this scale, the deaths could number in triple digits, as with 2 Black Watch on 21 November 1941. All the best Andreas
