“Dog tags” on ebay

Hi All,

I happened to stumble across WW2 dog tags on eBay and have managed to find my Grandad’s.

seller is Missdrop44 if anyone is interested in searching for a relative.

I’ve purchased via eBay so hopefully it’ll arrive. If not it was £9 and chalk it up to experience. Would be great to get it though as it was my Grandad’s.

 

Just to go full circle on this. The tag arrived yesterday. I know it’s not one that would have been issued to my Grandad, but it’s from the period, has his name and army number on it so I’m happy.
Now to track down some other period produced badges and frame them all up.
