This former cavalry regiment is now mechanised Royal Horse Artillery unit, the wearers of the "jacket" being proud to retain the word "horse". Sir Lancelot Rolleston, D.S.O., their Honorary Colonel, serve with distinction in South Africa with the Imperial Yeomanry and was severely wounded.
