    Son of John and Frances Williams, husband of Ada Williams, of Tyldesley, Lancashire.

    who died age 22
    on 14 February 1942

    I can't offer much I'm afraid, other than all deaths were registered consecutivley at Eton Qtr 1 1942 and all were killed on active service.

    Having had another look at the CWGC for Horwood his trade is given as WOp therefore he could have been an instructor and the others pupils.

    A little more here on the aircraft loss.

    Accident de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide R5927, 14 Feb 1942
    All six deaths formally recorded at Eton Coroners Court as "killed on active service" in February 1942. In addition to all six crew on board, a civilian on the ground, Mr. Gordon Eric Ellis, was killed by flying debris from the DH.89A. Aircraft Struck off charge 14.3.42
