Not sure if this is the right place to post this (mods feel free to move it), but here is an interview with two diggers from the 2/8th Australian Infantry Battalion which I conducted in commemoration of ANZAC Day, April 25th. It's about 25 minutes, but if you can spare a moment to watch, it is a fairly moving first hand explanation of what Corporal Norm Knopp and his comrade Private Richard Browne went through while serving Australia in WW2. The young men asking the questions are the boys I coach from the Melbourne High School Old Boys Football Club Under 19's. Please excuse the sound and amateur production, this is far from my day job! Feel free to share. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to start from the start either, so you may need to take the cursor back to the start. Hope it might be something that someone gets something from. YouTube Link

Thanks, really appreciate your words Bernard85, I have a great bunch of young men. It was an honour to witness the words of these two diggers first hand. Amazing men.
Well done 2nd8th. These lads certainly have longevity. My dad fought in the battalion from the beginning, was wounded, came home, raised a family and has been dead for over 30 years ' I wonder if you know how many are left? Cheers Geoff
