Hi, I've only just joined and hence I am trying to get used to the forum. My father, Gnr Richard Nash was in the 236/59th Anti-Tank Regt. R.A. 43rd Wessex Division. He loved motor-bikes and was acting as a despatch rider in and around Nijmegen when he was killed on 10 October 1944. He is buried at the Jonkerbos War Cemetery in Nijmegen. I have some interesting photo's which I will post shortly. Does anyone have any information on the 236/59th Anti-Tank Regt. R.A. or the 43rd Wessex Division at that time and place?
The National Archives have the units war diary for 1944: WO 171/917 59 Regt. Jan-Dec 1944. Regards Andy
