    Very interesting to find details of my Dad 2733825 Lance Corporal L J Cummins, 1st Bn Welsh Guards. Below is a picture, not sure where this was taken but if anybody can assist or comment it would be very interesting for me...

    TAKEN TO DULAG LUFT, FRANFURT-ON-MAIN. CONFINED IN SEPARATE ROOMS. EXCEPTIONALLY POOR RATIONS. INTERROGATED AT LAST, TWICE A DAY. FINALLY ON THE FOURTH DAY OF IMPRISONMENT WE WERE RELEASED.

    ON TRAIN JOURNEY FROM ITALY TO GERMANY STARTED ON UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT AT CUTTING OUR WAY THROUGH RAILWAY TRUCK DOOR. GAV IT UP AFTER SIX HOURS THROUGH LACK OF PROPER TOOLS.
