2nd Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment October 1944

I'm hoping to make contact with anyone who has researched the Lincolnshire Regiment in WW2. I'm trying to find where they were and any action that was taking place on the 14th October 1944 when a local lad, Cpl Albert Bainbridge was killed.

From the war diary of 2 Lincolns for 14 October 1944. The Lincolns took a lot of casualties that day in the area around Overloon.
