3195077 William Graham DICKINSON, 1 King's Own Scottish Borderers: missing 6th june 1944

    Hello,
    1 officer and 10 men of 1st Bn. King'Own Scottish Borderers were aboard Liberty ship Sambut on 6th june 1944.
    Corporal William Graham Kennedy was killed and is buried at Dover.
    Can someone tell me if 3195077 Lce Cpl John Dickinson, mentionned as missing on 6th june on the Bayeux Memorial was also lost at sea or no ?

    Casualty lists do not elaborate, first reported 'missing believed killed' then 'presumed killed in action'. He is reported alongside 14003029 CARROLL Pte A.
