It's an 8 digit number. It doesn't fit with any of the 8 digit blocks on here. Army Number Block Allocations
That is a US made garment supplied under Lend Lease. Also the style of lettering is distinctly not British. I suspect this may be a wartime or Post War Marshall Plan issue from US stocks to another European country.
This isn't a US made Lend Lease jacket for British troops, its the other way round - its a British made reverse Lend Lease Jacket for US troops. I'd agree with the above comments that its not a British service number, its possibly a US Army number(not sure how to check those) or as suggested supplied on to a European nation and issued to their forces.
