Good evening and my apologies if there is already a thread that I've missed. My great uncle, Spr 402130 William Geddes, was killed in action on 4 May 1917 aged 21yrs. He is remembered at Arras Memorial. Unfortunately his service records are not available so I wonder if anyone can shed light on what 401st Highland Field Company, RE would have been doing at that time. Casualty Details | CWGC
