4533710 Arthur MYERS, 2 West Yorks

    Hello, Im new here, Hope this is the right section to post in.

    I am looking for information about my grandad's uncle. Actions in the time prior to his death. As far as I can he could have died as a result of the battle of Alam Halfa.

    Looking at ancestry and CWGC it looks like others also died/ were burried the same day.
    Pte Arthur Myers 4533710 He served with the 2nd west yorkshire regiment. He died/ was buried in El Alamein war cemetery on the 1st of September 1942.

    Hello, thank you for your reply and the link. I do plan on ordering them his service records, I don't have a cheque book though so would need to go get a postal order. Thank you.
