    Hi all

I'm researching the Morris C9/B and theres this great video on You Tube. I am confused though by a photo 2mins 33 sec in (MORRIS 40mm S P Bofors - YouTube) which shows a C9/B in the winter in Holland BUT it looks like it has the formation badge of 5 Corp HQ ( the Viking longboat?) but weren't these with the 8th Army in Italy at the time?

    Cheers

True - the 5th Corps never left Italy - but individual units went to NWE and/or someone mixed up the photographs...../plus there were very few luftwaffe in Italy towards the end and so many Light AA units were broken up- see ron Goldstein's 49th LAA
    Cheers

Simple mix-up, I think. There are a couple of photos of this vehicle in the IWM photo archives. It belongs to 11th City of London Yeomanry in Italy. The pictures were taken on 16 January 1944.

I've got quite a bit of info on C9/Bs.

    Er, I've also got one!
