61 Anti Tank Regt 1944/45

Steve ten years later! I'm researching distance family member Sgt Robert Lee of the 61st see my post and his photo . I was wondering how far you got in identyfying men and batteries did Rober Lee come up so far?

Hi, I believe my great grandfather Charles James Hemming may of been in the 61st. I don't know much about him other than he was in the 8th army and served in Africa, Italy and France.
I have a couple of photos I will attach. I would be grateful for any information if anyone recognises anything or knows his name.

Nice photos, its a long shot, hoping that someone might recognise a friend or relative.
Do you have any of their vehicles showing numbers, they could be traceable.

Thank you. Unfortunately these are the only 2 photos I have. I don't know much about him and his time in he army. Just though I could try and find out more about him and what he did.

I understand it will take quite some time, but you should request his official service records, if you have not done so. I'm afraid I don't know the particulars (as I am Canadian). Possibly create a new post in this section of the forum: Service Records
