    Hello,
Looking for any info about my great grandad Lance Corporal Albert Fothergill in the British Army. He served the entire duration of the war and his duty locations included Egypt, East Africa, Western Desert, Sudan, Greece, Crete, Syria and Tobruk.

He died when my grandma was very young and never spoke about the war. As a result we do not know much about his service, including why he won his gallantry award (mentioned in despatches), which we are desperate to find out about.

    Service #62114

Any info about him would be very much appreciated. :)
    Georgia.
