This is a shot in the dark but does anyone have any information on Cyril Davies from the above regiment? I have found a picture of him at this link after he survived the sinking of HMS Abdiel 3 members of 6 Royal Welch, Taranto harbour | ParaData He's the lad in the middle

Another soldier he would have known who enlisted at the same time as him was 4208633 Pte R.E. Davies oly a 21 number difference. According to his papers he enlisted on 11/8/41, transferred to the AAC on 17/8/42 and returned to the Royal Welch on 14/7/45. He later went on to serve in Korea.. He was wounded on 22/3/43 in North Africa. At one stage he was serving with the 2nd Battalion Parachute Regiment.
