    Mark,

Welcome aboard. It will help others here if you explain what information you already have, if only to stop duplication. Plus, a quick explanation why you are here.

There is very little here already on the 6th Medium Regiment. It may help to look at this thread, as the regiment appears as with them: 4/15 Punjab Regiment 1944 and 1945

On the parallel thread there is a 2011 post that states:
The cited link no longer works.

There are a profusion of threads on the 'admin box' here, best way I found to locate them is to use: "admin box" + "ww2talk.com" site:ww2talk.com

By adding "medium" I did find one actual reference to them being in the 'box':
See Post 12 in: 25th Dragoons

Another option would be to search the CWGC records for the regiment losing men in February 1944. Caveat, it takes time to conquer their search engine.

    Good luck.

I'm also looking for information on which bits of 6 Med Regt RA were where in 1944/45; at the moment in particular which battery or part of which battery was at Admin Box (I have my grandfather's service record and a vague feeling he mentioned being involved in a battle none of us had heard of years ago - likely Admin Box). I haven't found anything useful on here so far; has anyone looked at the relevant war diaries in the National Archives? They're not digitised, and I'm in NZ (and not likely to be visiting for a couple of years), so would be very interested if anyone here has looked at them.

Just found Drew5233's thread offering to copy war diaries, so asking there...
