    Saw his name on the WW2 Memorial in the doorway of St Mary's Church, Swinbrook , Oxon today.

    According to Swift and bold the story of the King's Royal Rifle Corps in the Second World War 1939-1945.

    He was 2ic 11 KRRC at Alamein.

    He commanded ROGERFORCE in Italy in April 44.
