    EVADED THE GERMANS' ATTEMPT TO EVACUATE THE CAMP BY HIDING IN A CELLAR ON THE DAY THEY MARCHED OUT. WAITED 5 DAYS TILL THE RUSSIANS CAME WITH MY COMRADE G. DAVIES, WELSH GUARDS.
