Name Bernard Mcguill Age 49 Residence Place Bishop Auckland, Durham, England Birth Date 1866 Birth Year (Estimated) 1866 Military Regiment 9/38441 Battalion 9th Battalion Military Company/Regiment Durham Light Infantry Event Type Military Service As far as i am aware he never left the Bishop Aukland area so could anyone offer information on his duties at this time etc? His Pension record as survived and is in Ancestry. I'm no expert but my reading is that he joined the 9th bn on the 10/4/15 but then was discharged on the 7/5/15 for 'conduct unsatisfactory ' could that not be an excuse for his age maybe. Regards Mike.
