    Hi

I have attached a photo of my Grandfather whilst serving in Italy 1944. He is the one standing far right.

He served in the 99th Battery 18th LAA and saw action in Iraq, Africa, Syria, Sicily, Italy, Palestine, France, Belgium, Holland & Germany.

My very long shot here is...does anyone out there recognise anyone else in the photo ??

    Thanks guys

Can't help directly but have you thought of contacting an Old Comrades Association? Worked a treat in my case and I ended up with all the names for an entire tank troop and eventually got to meet some of them. That, however, was about 15 years ago and all of them have now passed on. You still have a chance, even if slim, but time is not on your side.
