My father's record has the notation : "Placed on Draft REVBP" then further down the page "To X(iv) Draft, REVEP Embarked UK for NWE"
I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on the REVBP/EP for me please.
    Regards,

Don't look for any coherent reason for the Draft Number.

My own draft number, on being shipped out to North Africa in April 1943 was REAYK. My record sheet shows I was transferred to the draft in March '43 while the actual sailing was in April the same year.

From previous postings on this subject it was clear that the number was just a group of letters with no significance whatsoever.
