I know the chap at the front with no hat on is RAF, but can anyone tell me anything about the rest from their uniforms? They look like Luftwaffe to me? Many Thanks.
I'd say a version of the Luftwaffe para smock - first thought was with a reverible winter lining however it could just be brand new with grey appearing white in the photo. Could these be Allied forces posing with captured kit (and pet!)?
Interesting thought - They certainly all look a happy bunch! Just a shame the big 'placard' thing they are holding doesn't appear to give any clues as to who, where and when.
