Not sure if we've had this one up before. Nutty, or not? Classic Andy Reid Roll on Superbowl! Kind regards, always, Jim. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6hMqZSPiLRE
This Superbowl was the epitome of American football nuttiness; And long may it continue! Super Bowl 2024: Kansas City Chiefs defend NFL title after beating San Francisco 49ers in overtime Kind regards, always, Jim.
Well, it went the way it was expected to, but at least it was more interesting than a final five minute drive (full of defensive penalties), capped off by a 30 yard field goal as time expired. I hadn't realised the overtime rules had changed so even a touchdown in the first possession wouldn't result in a win, unless it was a defensive one.
And with Superbowl done let's see how the IPP hopefuls are getting on (just click on the "Watch on YouTube" bit) Early days yet. Kind regards, always, Jim.
Well the Welsh Flyer has made a giant leap. Good on him. I think he may make the Chiefs' 53, with Kadarius Toney losing out/traded maybe. Kind regards, always, Jim. Louis Rees-Zammit: Former Wales rugby union wing joins Kansas City Chiefs
Wow. I see some of his contract is guaranteed money. It's going to be hard for me to watch him though. I'd love to see him returning kicks but hate the Chiefs and root for anyone they are playing against. He will be able to get the best barbeque in the world. Sorry South Carolina and Texas. Hoping the Niners come out of the traps well this coming season. The scrutiny their QB was under last season was terrific. I thought he dealt with it well.
Well, he got cut from the KC Chiefs yesterday but the good news is he got picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars for their practice squad. So he went from a team I hate to one of my favorites. I see they play in England twice this season so maybe you can get to see him in person if he makes their regular roster by them. Hope so. Rees-Zammit embracing new position with Jaguars
Just managed to see the Friday night (early hours of Saturday morning to us lot) game. Not sure which counted higher, the flags or the slips on the Sao Paulo pitch. High scoring and seemed to be lots of errors from both sides. First look I've had at the new kick-off rules and formations - might as well just start from the 30 yard line and anyway.
This guy's laughter is infectious. Super funny commentary of Alabama snatching victory from defeat vs Auburn on final play in last years Iron Bowl. Last play for reference.
