VP mentioned this site last April but as it's hidden away in another post I thought I'd highlight it again: The Russian Battlefield Worth a visit just for the tank blueprints: The Russian Battlefield (BLUEPRINTS) A lot of it has been translated but to read the Soldiers Memoirs you have to change the settings back to Russian (using the flag icon), clicking a link, and then copying the link into the Babel website translator. Not perfect I know but still worth the effort to read the soldiers' experiences. AltaVista - Babel Fish Translation AS USUAL, I APOLOGISE IF THIS SITE HAS BEEN HIGHLIGHTED BEFORE BUT I COULD ONLY FIND ONE REFERENCE TO IT EDIT: OK - I'VE JUST FOUND SOME MORE REFERENCES TO THE SITE - SORRY GUYS.
Ok, to make amends how about: POBEDITELI — Soldiers of the Great War the audio-visual presentation is excellent (takes about a minute to load with broadband)
