This is a shot in the dark! All I have is a name Arthur Calladine, he lived in Belper Derbyshire and had been a FEPOW. He was a big chap and during the 1950s and 1960s he would shuffle around the town in an old mac with both his hands, palms up talking to them incessantly. A friend of mine remembers him and would love to know more about him. Regards Richard.
Perhaps others may have more luck but cannot find this name in the casualty lists or POW records. There are others with different first names.
Thanks Tony. Maybe my friend got the Arthur part of the name wrong but it was definitely Calladine. Regards Richard
